My wedding was back in 2017 and I never got around to providing reviews. My hair was decent and they were nice but I was devastated for a good year after the wedding because she put my veil in upside down. You can see the whole comb in a U shape in the pics when I'm facing backwards to the camera. The reason this bothered me so much was because I can still recall the exact moment she was putting it in and the photographer asked her to wait until we finished putting on the dress photos but she said she had to rush off to do someone else's trial. Surely, booking a trial a few hours after a wedding booking is not a good practice, especially knowing how things with weddings can run long. Hearing that comment while getting ready was not a great feeling, and the fact that it resulted in my veil upside down (which I didn't know about until I saw pics after the wedding) is highly upsetting. I got the preview pics on my honeymoon and noticed the veil and it ruined my entire honeymoon. Also, I had asked specifically if they had experience with older skin for my mom (ie. Minimizing wrinkles,not going too dark around the eyes, etc) and my mom ended up looking even older / racoon dark eye like and was not happy with her makeup but didn't say anything to change it since she was so rushed to leave. On the plus, my MOHs makeup was really nice. I read great reviews beforehand so I was saddened by my experience.

Alyssa is the most talented makeup and hair stylist that I've ever had the pleasure of working with. She went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly for our special day. Working with both my mother and mother-in-law, Alyssa was especially attentive and helpful as they had such different expectations. Without her, we would never have had the perfect event! Thank you soooo much for all of your help -- you really made us feel special!

My wedding party and mom were all amazed with how their hair turned out, and the fact that it was exactly like the picture! I would absolutely recommend Alyssa for your wedding day.

Although I planned my wedding in Toronto, I live in California. So I had to find most of my vendors online and rely on reviews. As soon as I saw the beautiful and glowy looks that’s Alyssa can create in Instagram, I knew I wanted to work with her and I’m so happy I did. Alyssa was absolutely amazing to work with. She was easy to communicate with and even though we didn’t meet face to face until 4 days before my wedding, she totally got the look I wanted to achieve and did an amazing job! She was also super fast!! I had just attended my sister in law’s wedding when it took over four hours for the hair alone to be done. Alyssa managed both my hair and makeup and my sister in laws in less time than that. She was also super relaxed and put us both at ease which was wonderful during our hectic day. It was an awesome experience that I would recommend to anyone.
