Been using their commissary services they started offering when the pandemic hit and it has been great! Fair prices, LOADS of offerings and super easy process to order & pay.
Visited a month ago. Americano was good, but their baked goods and pastries weren't in a covered casing, meaning exposed to insects. Made me nervous. I saw this big fruit fly hanging out on top of the muffins. I'm a nursing mom so I'm always hungry and really wanted food. Kitchen was closed too. I asked if they had any of their pastries not displayed , which ended up being a 'no'. So as a last resort ordered some overly sweet honey loaf only because it was wrapped in saran wrap. Will probably only coffee here going forward.
Love the vibe in there. Just around the corner from my apartment and everyone seems to be cheery there. Breakfast sausage sandwich and breakfast wrap are fantastic!! Emily (I think that's her name!) does a great job at recommendations and making people feel welcomed
I’ve been going here for years and it is incredibly reliable. I’ve never had to wait for a table, the staff are always friendly, and the food is very good. One of my favourite things about going is that you can order a side of pancakes. So if you can’t decide between a sweet or savoury brunch, you can just order both. Also, there’s a brewery next door so if you want to go straight into an afternoon on the patio, this little plaza has you covered.
We had Sunday brunch at this nice little place on Wallace. Very clean and comfortable restaurant with entry of seating. The menu is small but concise. Lots of variety and a good selection for drinks. We opted for brunch menu items and some coffees. I ordered the fish cakes with poached eggs. Eggs were fine and properly prepared. The dish came with a nice fresh salad. The only shortcoming was the fish cake. The cakes were very bland and lacked any real fish flavor. I was pretty disappointed with them, tasting very dry and bready. Its too bad cause otherwise the experience was decent. Nice place would consider coming back but would not recommend the fish cakes!
