Recently has been redone and new paths opened. Big green area. Nice ponds. Wildlife. Lots and lots of sun on a sunny day. Wear a hat.
The area is usual fairly busy. Pay parking is mandatory and dogs must remain leashed on the whole grounds.
This is a hidden gem in Toronto. I love the vibe of the park + social meet up place at Evergreen Brick Works. The old building has been maintained so well it's a treat just walking around it and appreciating the brick design, a lot of greenery, and random landmarks that feel little out of place and yet are perfect for this place. I recommend going on a weekday afternoon to enjoy the trail when there aren't a lot of people.
Lovely open yet cozy space. Made with a nice relaxing walk in mind in any season. Dog friendly. You can get as little or as much of a workout here as you would like. Fun to voluntarily get a little lost but look around and find your bearings.
A nice place to visit. Probably much more enjoyable during the summer. Can easily spend an afternoon there. There were not very many vendors during the winter but we were advised that the summer there are a lot more. There are also some walking trails around the facility. Looking forward to doing this in the summer. Please be aware that you must pay for parking. It was $4 for one hour. If you're wanting to shop get there early.
A nice place for family to hangout. There is a park right besides and has really nice track with beautiful and quiet sightseeing. I am not a vegetarian but the vegetarian food from the restaurant inside the building is yummy! Evergreen is also offering youth program relative to environment and climate change. There is free shuttle to the subway station.
