Friendly service. *** FYI i did not have injira, I don't enjoy it *** I had the veggie platter: a diversity of ingredients and flavours, very nice. The proprietor is a wonderful conversationalist; I was alone and she was great and informative company. You should go.
(December 15, 2018, 2:33 am)I had a great meal here. The flavours were on point and fresh. At some Ethiopian restaurants the food is too oily, and all the items can sometimes taste the same. Not so here. I had the vegetarian platter and they provided a wonderful selection of red, green and yellow lentils, a yellow cabbage, red cabbage, kale salad, some type of bitter greens, a potato curry. All delicious, with unique flavour and fresh. Their injera is made in-house and is thin and delicate. The lady (owner?) is so nice as well. All in all, I had a wonderful dinner. Glad to see they are in my neighbourhood.
(November 22, 2018, 3:34 am)I brought my friend to try Ethiopian/Eritrean food for the first time, And restaurant owner name Hellen went above and beyond to give him the best experience.
She brought us a beautiful platter of different foods to try, She offered us coffee and popcorn which is traditional in Ethiopian and Eritrean cultures.
It was a great experience and the food is absolutely amazing.
(November 3, 2018, 3:31 am)This is my first time have Ethiopian food, with almost no knowledge of what it is, the food of this place is incredibly fresh. The server is very patiently explaining their dishes, made good suggestions for me to try out. Very welcoming atmosphere, price is very reasonable. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone, and come back myself!
