Thank God for freshco. The store is clean the cashiers are very very friendly this is definitely my go to store and I live on the Esplanade worth the trip.
I hope the customer service stays fantastic. Great store!
Good. I like both No Frills and Fresh.co. but fresh.co has some authentic Bangladeshi, South Asian products which I like. I also think their vegetable and sweet section has more varieties and selections than others in this area.
Of all the rebate grocery stores (No Frills, Food Basics), Freshco almost provides a higher end experience (even their plastic bags are better!). Of course with this fany experience comes a cost, literally the cost. It's a bit pricier than it's counterparts. But clean, organized, tons of selection and the lines move moderately well.
Living across the street, we’ve been anticipating the opening since the closure of No Frills (which moved north to Bloor) and the construction of 561. Continually improving in stock and supply as it adjusts to habits of the neighbourhood. Consistently clean and a courteous staff and a late 10pm closing make this very convenient. Shop early to guarantee product is on hand as some items do sellout daily.
I would rate this my favourite grocery store in Toronto and I've only been there once so far! It's been newly renovated and is quite spacious and nicely laid out. Free, clean (and stylish :) carts waiting for you inside the entrance. I found their dollar sales items to sometimes be $1 less per item than most other stores. Also, the stock boy was extremely happy and willing to get more of an item that had sold out on the shelf. Will return soon...
