Loved the school ! My instructors were very patient and very knowledgeable.Price point is great. Our kits are well equipped and with branded products. Plenty of industry time. I enjoyed my time here and think this course is the ideal way to go if wanting to start in the industry. I shopped around for a bunch of programs thought this was value for money and ideal for starting off in the beauty side of the business.
I took the manicure and pedicure course with Glow college at the Kitchener location. I had such a great experience. Kimberly was my teacher and she was incredible!! She was extremely thorough, friendly and professional. I left the course with so much knowledge and many tips and tricks. I can't wait to take more certificate courses with Glow college. I love the flexibility that Glow college offers when it comes to booking when your class times are! I will recommend glow to anyone I can!! Thanks again Kimberly!
I want to take admission in this academy but I am from india ... can someone help me in this ???
I enrolled at glow for the Fashion Design Makeup Course and had previously completed the Beauty Make-up Course. I recommend this beauty school because of their fantastic teachers, friendly staff, and many student practical opportunities they provide. The class schedules and times were flexible for me to take part-time. Teachers were helpful and understanding. I plan on continuing my education at glow in the future.
I first signed up with GLOW late 2013 and have been attending courses here and there over the years. Though I started out only going to the Mississauga location (it's closer to me), over the last few years, I've attended a few courses at the Toronto location. As it's generally a more accessible location for students travelling from a longer distance, they offer quite a few more course options, and have a few more instructors to offer their expertise (including the instructors from their other locations).
As a beauty school in general, GLOW is, for all who have attended, a wonderful institution. They continue to grow and improve each year, with impeccable success. I can honestly say that in my personal experience they are equal to, if not better than, public collegiate beauty school programs, as well as private beauty academies. Not only are they incredibly supportive and successful with their students, but they're also incredibly accommodating to their graduates. They also have many amazing practical opportunities for their students and graduates alike; a luxury that other private beauty schools I've attended did not offer.
All in all, I would highly recommend GLOW Academy Toronto (truly all locations) for any passionate individuals that are looking into beauty school. I promise, as long as you take your academic career seriously and are attentive in class, you will not regret choosing this school... and even if you have a hard time learning with conventional teaching methods, the instructors do their best to work with you and help you learn in a way that works best for you.
