Good food and service all around! They recently did some Renos as well - very quaint and small space
The Japanese pancake was lovely. So pretty and cute. The sauce was yummy! The pulled pork had remarkable texture. Very authentic! If I can make 1 teeny suggestion...the pulled pork can maybe be a tad less sweet? Overrall great experience and service, too.
Came here for a solo dinner on a Saturday evening. It has a cute and cozy interior - great for a casual lunch/meal with a few friends, but not big enough for a party of more than 4 during peak meal hours. All the food is vegan. Service was a bit slow because there was only one server at the front taking dine-in and take-out orders.
I ordered the Japanese Curry bowl and Cheesecake of the Day (Cinnamon Maple). Price is on the steeper side ($27 after tax and tip), but food quality and taste was good. The server was also attentive and kind.
Overall, I enjoyed the experience and food, but probably wouldn't go regularly.
It’s a humble restaurant with a short but seasoned list of vegan dishes (~$8-$15). I had the popcorn nuggets (with gochujang mayo) as an appetizer and the Japanese curry bowl. I was very satisfied with the portion size of the dishes and how flavourful they were. Staff was friendly and helpful. Due to very limited seating, there is usually quite a wait during the lunch and dinner rush. As well, the service can be a bit slow, but overall I had a pleasant experience.
