It is the most profound spiritual program I have ever encountered in my 35 years of soul searching--and I am not an alcoholic. I go to the meetings because the shares move me to go deeper on my journey and doing the steps (I am on the 4th step) has had a huge effect in my daily living. I recommend EVERYONE should go check it out.

I was ready to end it all. I had hurt every single person in my life and I was afraid to look life in the eye. I drank uncontrollably to ease the anxiety, but it took me even deeper into the dungeons of my mind. AA gave me a path out. People say it is a cult, but those people were never on the verge of death. For me, it was death or AA. It saved me and gave me the opportunity to succeed in all aspects of life and become a helpful person of this world. Sometimes the best way to survive is to stop fighting everybody and everything and let miracles happen. God Bless, the doors are always open.

I was always restless, irritable, and discontent, until the wonderful people of the Toronto Intergroup introduced me to their life changing program. You will find none more accepting and genuine than the people of AA Toronto.
