As a man who just started growing out his hair for the first time, I wasn't sure of how to maintain it. I came here to make an appointment and even before setting up a time for me, the person at the front desk (I can't remember her name) was super helpful in explaining what I had to do. This was before I was even a customer! That really left a positive impression on me.

I had my appointment with Sean and he went in depth on what I could do to maintain it, what my hair was like, and he gave me a great summer cut that gave my hair far less weight while still maintaining the same look. He also gave me a very fair price based on the work that he did.

In terms of results and service, they are awesome. Highly recommended.

Awesome hair salon! I’ve had my hair done by Tiffany a few times now and she never disappoints. Very attentive to what your hair goal is, and willing to discuss it with you to create a plan if it’s not attainable in one session.
Also, their reaction to COVID is perfect, they took all the necessary precautions to keep everyone safe!

Is it in Queen West? Yes. Will you feel super uncool when you arrive the first time and see how stylish everyone is? Yes. Will they offer you a drink and be the kindest to you anyway? Absolutely yes.

They are licensed and they have a beautiful rooftop patio to relax on while your colour sets. I have followed my stylist Lea to HBB from another Toronto salon, and am so glad she landed here. She is a balayage master!

I won't go anywhere but Hair By Banks for my color, cut and style needs! I've been working with Tiff since 2017 and she's done a beautiful job helping me achieve the balayage hair of my dreams. She's also the only stylist I've been to that cuts my hair in a way that I'm happy to let it air dry.

Because of their skill, I worked with Hair by Banks for my wedding. I loved the work that Tiff and Lea for all 9 women, ranging in age from 6 to over 60! I especially love the classic glam look that Tiff helped me achieve. I cannot recommend HBB enough for your everyday and special occasion hair needs!
