Just had a Philly cheese Shawarma and I was impressed with the quality of the meat and the sauces used to compliment the meat. The taste was awesome. Will be coming back! It’s also a lot of fun talking to the siblings who work the restaurant. Always a nice touch to meet the owners!

So good! We got the chicken shawarma wrap combo and the chicken shawarma plate, both were so good and the portions were huge. The quality was fantastic for the price, and the owner was lovely! Very COVID friendly as well.

Located inside The Village by the Grange at the corner of Dundas and McCaul, Hangry Pirates Shawarma is a new spot for shawarma in the area and it is a GEM amongst the other restaurants! The sandwiches are well made, the fries are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with a special seasoning that I can't get enough of, and the portion sizes are generous. I can't wait to try the full menu. This is my new shawarma place and I highly recommend you check it out if you haven't.

I really enjoyed the Shawarma! They have square pitas - first time I have seen that. Service was great and super friendly. Food was delicious.
