For most loyal Harvest Wagon customers, convenience & quality of product outweigh cost, so while the prices are definitely higher than average, their consistency of options & availability in all departments keeps you coming back.
As much as I love their fresh fruits & vegetables, and prepared foods section, this place is grossly overpriced. On top that, if you’re a younger shopper (i.e not 30+) some staff don’t provide you with the same customer service, which might not be important to everyone, but it is to me. As far as I’m concerned, the money in my pocket holds the same value as everyone else’s in that store.
The produce and selection of specialty foods, although expensive, are outstanding. In that respect, I believe you get what you pay for.
Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the prepared food which is mediocre at best and way over priced. This is an area of their operation that they really need to work on because the market for take-out food is there!
I really want to like this place. The produce is about as good as it gets but I can’t justify the extremely high prices. This place makes pusateris look cheap and their produce is comparable. I paid 25$ for a small takeout container of sweet and sour pork.
Harvest Wagon is definitely the best when it comes to quality. The produce is always fresh and you cannot compare it to your big grocery store. I would highly recommend. The staff is also very polite and there to help you. It is a great place where you feel welcome and enjoy shopping...who doesn't love to eat and eat great food. Five stars
