This a excellent choice of stay if you are in downtown.
The rooms, restrooms are cleaned & cozy.
Guest services are great, they guides if we have any questions.
This hostle is so fun! The Cavern is great for the evening life and fee breakfast is served there per night that you stay. Small lock boxes above each bed as well as lockers. They assign you a bunk number. A/C works well in rooms. Small private rooms for shower.
The one down side I had was that the room was a bit narrow which made it difficult for people to be super quiet as they were coming in or out at am/pm.
The people that work there are super friendly. They even give free breakfast vouchers before checking in after witnessing a scene they saw regrading a taxi driver. That was sweet of them. As for the rooms they were
alright.
The people I roomate were friendly. But overall my stay there was great. Just like the Hi Vancouver, the Hi Toronto was awesome too.
The whole vibe of the place was great. Staff were down-to-earth and enthusiastic. 10-bed guys rooms was surprisingly fresh and cool. Regular caveats of hostel-living apply, but I feel for the price and the experience this is just what I was looking for.
This places provides all the essentials, and the other guests were polite and friendly. I stayed in one of the larger dorms, but I had virtually no disruptions during my visit. The breakfast provided was also healthy and delicious, and the staff members were helpful. It's a great deal for exploring Toronto, but I wouldn't recommend taking a car. Parking is expensive in the area, and everything is easily accessible on foot or by public transportation.
