Ink & Water Tattoo

Overall good tattoo parlours. Been to both locations. Just be aware that with the fortune cookies they only show on ig the “cool/cute” ones and you can’t get them the same day. I have known a few people who have gotten some strange tattoos from them. (All part of the risk though). Also when I was scheduling two of my tattoos they kept messing up the locations and times I had wanted. But hey they also do a charity tattoo every month which is such a great way to give back to the community.

I went to Ink & Water Bloor location today (June 6th 2019) and had a phenomenal experience! I had booked a tattoo about 6 weeks prior, and they were totally ready for me as soon as I showed up. I had to wait a little because I showed up early, but my artist Pam (@wildfirepunch , I CANNOT recommend her enough) showed up exactly on time!

Registering and giving my consent was super easy and quick; its done through a tablet and really accessible. The receptionist was really nice and offered everyone drinks as they waited.

The place is so beautifully designed and I loved the bathroom (you'll have to see it for yourself)! It's a really comforting space that's inviting and welcoming-- it helped me get over my nerves of getting my tattoo. All the staff were super friendly (if not to me than their clients). There was a photographer getting some shots and even he was amazing-- he knew my name and spoke to me about my tattoo.

I put my tattoo on my hip, meaning I had to take some layers off and Pam was always making sure I was comfortable about it! She is honestly amazing and so great to work with! She made sure to take her time in order to get me the best tattoo possible. Pam (and the other artists) definitely know what they're doing and make sure that you get the best results possible. She was very through about the aftercare and made sure I understood exactly what do to.

I am booking another tattoo with her as I write this. Ink & Water is my go-to studio now! If you are looking for any tattoo contact them!

Definitely the top tattoo parlour in Toronto. I'd suggest everyone to come here. The bloor location was very nice and clean. They also had some arcade games by the patio, and the parlous itself was very cute! Can't express how wonderful my experience was here. Kira was amazing to work with. I loved how my tattoo with them turned out! Fantasic person and artist! Would for sure come here again next time :)

Got a leg piece done by Kevin about a month ago. He was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. Kevin was very communicative and collaborative, and was even willing to take the time to make changes to the final design in the day of our appointment – he made sure to schedule extra time on his clock so that we could discuss the design and revise anything.

I saw another review that said that this store refuses to tattoo people of colour. Not sure what they’re talking about. I had no issues getting tattooed here, and many of the staff were also dark skinned. Kevin mixed his inks himself so that my tattoo would display on my skin properly, and now that it’s healed it looks phenomenal.

Tattoo aside, customer service here was unexpectedly refreshing. From gaming cabinets to a patio to complimentary snacks and check-ins to make sure I was enjoying my time, I felt cared for as soon as I walked into the door. Hoping to come back and pick up some of Kevin’s flash art sometime soon.
