Le Baratin

I regret that I did not come on an empty stomach. I had the cheese tart with a glass of white wine. The food was amazing. Service was very good and the atmosphere was very nice. Clean, bright and casual dining, the restaurant quickly filled up on a Tuesday night. I dined alone but still received great service. Highly recommended - congrats Jean!

My colleague and I were looking for a post-work drink and bite to eat. Finally had a chance to check out Le Baratin, and luckily on a Wednesday which gave me the opportunity to try out their Wednesday special - a $20.00 steak frites dinner. Was tasty! My friend is vegetarian and enjoyed her dinner as well. We had a very intuitive server and friendly server. They seem to have specials most days of the week. Definitely worth checking out. Quite the echo in there once the restaurant fills up, so may want to look into some acoustic design. Noise level was probably a 6 on a scale of 1-10 by the end. Buuuuut, I'm sensitive to that and I'm sure those who are less lame than I would not mind!

Few other restaurant down the road said they were busy to seat us and no seating for the rest of the day. so we gave this one a try while walking down the road. Not too bad at all. Very friendly environment and cozy

Amazing service. Cozy and quaint atmosphere. You can see the chef cooking away. Fair and affordable tasty food. Simply delicious. I think we have officially found our new French spot. Do yourself a favour and try it out. Reservations are highly recommended. Thank me later.

Le Baratin stands out for several reasons. Both the food and service are exceptional. The chef asked us if we enjoyed our meal, and our thoughts about one of the specials we ordered. You feel absolutely valued as a patron. Everything we ate was so flavourful and perfectly executed. The portions are generous, and they have an excellent wine selection. I'm looking forward to coming back.
