Have loved this place from the time i moved to Canada five years ago and still have the same feelings for this place, best breakfast pastries in town.

Mabel's has a decadent flourless chocolate cake, I've picked it up several times for various celebrations -- You must try it. Their croissants and bread is excellent, can lots of squares, cookies, tarts and cakes with and without gluten. Handy prepared fresh and frozen meals when you need it. For local bakery goods this is our first stop.

I found in this bakery what I was missing the most moving into the city; hearty delicious breads. I recommend the sourdough breads!

Nice location. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Very busy, but worth the wait. Sadly they don't have a large selection of sourdough breads. They have shelves with dried GLUTEN free pastas from brand names. Desserts etc. Worth the time to check it out.????
