This was my place to go if I wanted a burger on my way home from work but they recently added a 15% gratuity on online orders and if you order takeout in person they direct you to the website. Pretty steep for putting an burger in a bag.
So 1/5 online/takeout orders
5/5 if you have a group of friends dining in
The people coming here to leave a one star review for a restaurant that is clearly trying to keep employees & customers safe obviously haven’t a clue. These are probably the same knuckle dragging mouth breathers who rant and rave that wearing a mask goes against their human rights.
I have always enjoyed stellar food and service from this group of restaurants and will happily continue to give them my patronage knowing they choose health & safety over a buck.
I see a lot of negative reviews and positives recently trying to combat each other. Someone went to the restaurant and couldn't order off the app which is policy and she was upset we get it. While I understand that she had a negative experience it is no reason to negatively review the restaurant badly having not eaten the food or given them a chance to make it right.
I recently went to another restaurant under the same banner Schmaltz appetizing and although I couldn't figure out the app I was walked through it by the owner who was very kind and understanding.
Now for the food portion of my review of Madame Boeuf which is why people are here.
The food is great. If you are looking for quality food at a fair price look no further. i have been eating through their menu for the past year and a half now and have had nothing but great food experiences.
My personal favourite is the Madame Boeuf Burger Extravaganza which has a delicious burger patty a hot dog and a delicious sauce to bring it all together. I normally order it with fries but their onion rings are also great. At $18 it is not cheap but quality food often is not and Madame Boeuf certainly does not skimp on that.
If you want to get a cheaper burger there are plenty of places to get a cheap burger around like McDonald's but if you want a high quality burger at a fair price made with the utmost care, do yourself a favour and splurge a little and get yourself a delicious burger or hotdog from this restaurant who will continue to churn out delicious food to happy customers for decades to come.
What an amazing discovery. If you ❤️ ? ? and ? this is your place. I would recommend that they add Italian and polish sausages to the menu.
