Nakayoshi Izakaya

This place is the best. I sat beside a very affable couple, who raved about 4 or 5 separate items. Further discussions revealed that she was a professional chef at another restaurant! An endorsement like that, lends credibility to a menu.
I am a regular patron.

Went there with he family for early dinner. It's spacious there so lots of room for kids and baby. Tempura udon was delicious, very flavorful broth. the ramen are good, I like the spicy miso. Good service and food came in good time.

Great seafood, it tastes great! The other dishes and dessert pale in comparison to the seafood though since they didn't have cheesecake in stock when we went, would come back here again!

This is my neighbourhood go-to Japanese restaurant. An excellent menu that doesn't rely overmuch on sushi. Great service, an excellent drinks list as well.

Really liked this place. Food was tasty, healthy and reasonably priced. I thought that the dinner special was 'pick one of' and it turned out to be 'get all of' the main dishes. That was for $18.95! and included dessert! I have been eating Japanese food long enough to be OK with chopsticks. Will be back for sure.
