Old York Bar Grill

I have been here for late night drinks and brunch and the place is amazing for both. The service is always quick and the people are really nice. A basic menu and no frills place. Their patio space is amazing and the neighborhood is pretty nice.

The old York is a great little pub just off king Street West. The food is fantastic and the staff always welcoming. It really has a neighborhood pub type of feel. They've added a great second patio along Wellington Street since opening back up from Covid, complete with plastic dividers between tables to keep everyone safe. Try the mados hot sauce, best sauce in the city and you can purchase a bottle to take home with you.

A great and casual place in an area that feels surprisingly quiet. The patio is open and taking reservations - the food and service remains unchanged, as in, it was wonderful. Also a dog parade basically walks down the street in front of the patio so it is really fun. Highly recommend the fried chicken. A great slice of normality in weird times! Thanks so much!
