Petya is a great pianist as well as instructor. She is patient, encouraging, positive as well as deeply knowledgeable and willing to share her knowledge with anyone interested in learning. She has helped me improve my technique immensely and has an attention to detail that is remarkable. She also makes the lessons engaging and fun. I cannot recommend her enough!

She is very patient in giving feedback in a way that you can understand and appreciate. She also helps you develop your own musical style, and the ability to critique your own playing. With Petya's guidance, my 13 year old son was able to win first place at the 2019 Kiwanis Music Festival. Petya was also instrumental in supporting my son's audition and acceptance into the Senior Pianist program at Phil and Eli Taylor Academy of music for September 2020. We highly recommend Petya as a piano teacher if you are truly looking to improve your child's piano skills.

Petya is a very professional teacher who is dedicated to helping you grow. She concentrates on perfecting your form as well as your technique. She is very motivating and encouraging. She is also a very funny and friendly person to be around so it’s always a fun time! I started lessons with Petya one year ago and have learned so much from her. At the beginning I was very self concious about being in my late 20s with zero piano experience, but Petya was very patient and made me feel 100% supported. At the same time, Petya teaches in a very detailed and thorough way making sure that you never develop bad habits. Her focus on details and musicality really help bring out your sound! I never imagined being able to participate in a competition (before covid hit), but Petya helped me master my pieces and gave me the confidence to succeed. Thanks for being a wonderful teacher!
