The Roundhouse Park is amazing! Great place for the family to spend a great time there and learning about trains and the great thing is they get to climb on them and see how big they are in real life. We've been on a few occasions and once in a while we catch them with tours and they would open up the trains so the kids get to go inside and explore.
The kids have fun on the small train ride around the park which is quite exciting and fun for them. Even when they are not riding it, they find it fun watching other kids riding it. Also, the railway crossing is working and it's quite interesting for them.
They also have a park closer to the highway where the kids can play and entertain themselves. Overall this park is great due to the variety of entertainment along with the low cost. It's always one of our go to places if we're downtown.
Great place for the family. Went there after taking my Family to Ripley's. My kids loved the playground and had a blast on the old trains and got to ride the mini go train! Lots of food options near by and the steam whistle brewery and train museum on site makes it a little something for everyone.
Great spot. Steam Whistle Brewery was the highlight. We did the brewery tour and loved it! If you're in the area, drop in and quaff a brew. If you take the tour, see if Francis is available. He was our tour guide and he's great!
Steam Whistle Craft Beer Fest is always a wicked time. I never miss the winter or summer festival. The amount of breweries and food carts is outstanding and the people are always friendly. Overall a great time that doesn't murder your wallet.
