My hot water heater was acting up, and previously I had called Reliance, the hot water heater rental company and union gas as well. Both companies could not pin point the problem, and further more I had subscribed to a warranty program with reliance, and they said if they had to investigate and do repair, it would not be covered. I was not happy and let it go through summer. I decided to address the water heater before the cold weather arrived. I decided to check homestars for a reputable company, and came across royal heating and the positive reviews. The technician came out to Burlington, the next day for a service call. I explained that the water heater would not turn on sometimes, and when it did there was a loud banging noise and turned on and off randomly, and the furnace stopped working and house got really cold. The tech was able to relate to me and understood me when using lamens terms to describe the problem. He immediately determined that the water heater was an older model and some parts may not be available for repairs. He knew what to get and advised that he needed to source out some parts and would let me know when he would return. 2 days later the technician returned and fixed the problem, I don't know if royal heating usually serviced burlington, but was very glad they did. I am very grateful to royal heating for doing an amazing job, and not over charging me. I hope I don't need them again, but if I do, I know where to call. Thank you.
