(February 18, 2019, 7:38 pm)4 of us were there on a Saturday evening and it was jammed packed. I guess that was the reason that we had to wait for the server pretty long, but the food was served in a decent time. Our pizza was burnt badly and my salad had a tuna and the green been just out of the can. The pastas were fine, but nothing special. I asume they have a better service/food at a less busy time.
(January 1, 2019, 8:32 pm)Great location, good food and the right ambiance. I never had a bad meal at Terroni. This is one of the best Italian restaurant in town. The menu is perfect. You have a good coverage all different diet restrictions. I love their olive oil and bread as a starter. Unfortunately they tripled the price of their olive oil if you decide to purchase a bottle. I understand that there is a cost to cover but is exaggerated. I love their location around Summerhill. You have to go to their patio in summer. I find the restaurant absolutely too noisy to have a conversation. You need to scream in order to be heard. Majority of restaurants in Toronto are not designed properly in order to have the right materials absorbing the noise.
(December 16, 2018, 3:19 am)I definitely enjoyed my time here, but it’s more of a special occasion restaurant for my wallet. Ordered a simple spaghetti but wow was it good!! The server was incredibly knowledgeable on the wines. Not sure how a white wine can taste like “volcanic rock” but I’m sure that’s why it was $15 a glass.
