The Bedford Academy

Yesterday was our first time we visited this excellent restaurant. But It is definitely not the last. We enjoyed the evening very much with the attentive service, with the great cuisine and booze and with the comfortable price. We will no doubt return there soon.

Quiet place to enjoy a family Brunch. The biscuits are delicious and served warm with little pots of honey and butter. Coffee is good. Other Brunch choices are available if more food is desired.

The warm amber light and book collection make it feel like you're in a cozy living room/library. Its a romantic spot or good for conversation with friends! Best visited one-on-one!

Friendly place with attentive staff and cozy neighbourhood vibe. Good selection of wine and beer and great appetizers. I like coming here with friends to chat and catch up because it is always lively, but I never find it too noisy.

I had their cheeseburger with an extra patty, which I felt was a 3.5 stars. It didn't feel much different from a "premium" fast food burger, so I was slightly disappointed.

However, their nachos and meat platter were great. Not to mention, their service was amazing so I'd give them a 4-start on these aspects alone.

The atmosphere was also nice and cozy.
