The Beverley Hotel

Excellent location with a convenience store across the street, plenty of (good) food options nearby, and lots of shopping (if desired). Rooms are modern and well stocked but wow they are small! Great for light travelers and hostel veterans. Other pros include powerful AC, good internet, and a nice rooftop view. Downsides: small rooms, no natural windows, and no parking.

We liked how simple our room was. We appreciated the black out blinds for a great night’s rest, and the environmentally friendly soap (no small bottles/plastic waste). We appreciated the friendliness of the staff. Since the rooms are small, they get pretty warm-so make sure your thermostat is working!

Great location for the price, room was fresh and clean. Stayed in one of the rooms at front with two windows onto Queen Street - these are the largest rooms, others are much smaller and I think windowless. Lift was the slowest I have ever been in - couple of minutes to go from ground to 4. Also, not many amenities in the room - bulk soap, shampoo and conditioner dispensers in the shower and liquid soap for the sink. Overall though I would recommend highly. Location was very walkable to everywhere and plenty of dining and entertainment options close by.

Can't say enough good things about the Beverley hotel staff. They are super friendly, accommodating, and helpful and made my stay an absolute pleasure. I had told them in advance that I was planning a special evening for my girlfriend and I and they went above and beyond to make it a memorable one. Can't thank them enough for everything they did!
