The Buttery

There are few places as near and dear to me as the Buttery. This centrally located cafeteria offers space and services that allows students to study, eat, hang out, have meetings, and even nap. The space is large and offers seating and outlets for all-day work. In fact, I've probably spent more time in the buttery than in classes during my undergrad years. On top of the nostalgia factor, the food is rather good. They have a menu that offers variety, different coffee options, and plenty of snacks. On top of that the ladies that work in the cafeteria are the warmest and most memorable on campus. If you're a U of T student and you're looking for a place to do everything, the buttery is worth checking out. It can get quite busy though.

Food options aren't the best but they aren't the worst! The space tends to fill up around meal times of the day but there is usually a spot if you don't mind using a sofa! Nice relaxed atmosphere.
