We made our wedding bands here and had the most fantastic experience! Kristin was an amazing teacher who guided us through all the stages to create what we envisioned. I loved the environment, vibe and feeling of this place. Looking forward to making some else here in the future!
So much fun and very informative. It was a great experience and one we will never forget. They are very accommodating and excited to help you make the ring of your dreams. They show you how to do things every step of the way. We will recommend to everyone.
We couldn't think of anything cooler and more unique than making our own wedding rings.
Been working with The Den for our wedding bands and it we love how it turned out! Kristin is absolutely a pleasure to work with. She's knowledgeable and passionate about the craft, and fun to work with. One area where they do need to work on is their admin. They're sometimes hard to get a hold of, and their paperwork / correspondence can be a little unclear. But aside from that, great team to work with. I'm already looking for other projects that I can potentially do with them!
Super fun experience - better than expected, even! Kristin was extremely knowledgeable and patient with my boyfriend and I. We came out with rings that not only look professionally made but are personal and loved by the both of us :) Kristin took precautions to make sure everyone was safe and comfortable using power tools and consistently monitored us to make sure we would come out with the product we envisioned. We were walked through step by step on how to make rings and had so much fun learning and appreciating the craft of a goldsmith. Kristin also offered complementary snacks and drinks for us to help ourselves to - awesome bonus!
The place itself was a little hard to find, definitely prepare to street park and walk a bit if you’re driving since parking is not provided. However, once you see it, you can’t miss it - HUGE sign pointing to the Den! The inside of the building is very hipster and cozy, and you get to meet some adorable and friendly pets if you’re lucky!
Overall, I would recommend this experience to anyone who is looking to learn how to build something from scratch with their own two hands. My boyfriend and I went for Valentine’s Day, but I can imagine this experience would be fun for any occasion and any person. Kristin is amazing, funny, extremely personable and I would HIGHLY recommend her as an instructor. Thank you so much for everything, The Den! 11/10 experience!
