Was excited to go here after seeing them in an Amex Shop Small ad. Will definitely be coming back. They have a lot of great products and they are very knowledgeable. Had a great discussion about zero waste alternatives. I can't wait to try my new strawberry bubblegum tooth floss.
Beautifully curated selection, a very kind and helpful proprietor. If you're even vaguely considering going plastic free, this is the place for you!
It’s so easy to place an order online and pickup, and they were happy to give me advice on how to use my new reasonably priced products ? I’ll definitely be coming back soon !
It's so awesome that The Green Jar opened in my neighborhood! I love the concept and with their help I'm moving towards a lifestyle with less chemicals, synthetics products, and plastic. The ladies who run it are so very helpful and knowledgeable. I love that all I have to do is show up with an empty container and fill up with anything I need. The deodorant they sell in bulk is amazingly effective. They sell shampoo, conditioner, lotion, laundry and dish soap, degreaser, 12% vinegar.....i havent tried everything yet. So cool!
Such a cool store! I’m so excited it’s appeared in this neighbourhood. It’s lovely inside, and they offer a lot of useful, eco-friendly products, many of them unscented or suitable for sensitive skin. A lot of them or maybe all of them are from local providers. It seems to be run by a family, and they are very knowledgeable and friendly. They sell containers you can use (nice ones — think milk-style glass bottles, mason jars or little cobalt jars!) or you can bring your own, and the prices are very reasonable. The products include the cutest minimalist lunch tins and bags, personal care stuff like toothpaste as well as different types of household soap, pet shampoo, cleaners, people shampoo and lotion. They even have that great Routine deodorant, including in a bulk version, which is Canadian and works really well.
