Stopped in for a quick beer and ended up staying for a beer and chatting with regulars & staff. Charming place. Glad they cleaned the place up & dropped the prices since Harry's. (Mind you, I LOVED Harry's...) 12/10 recommend making the visit - even if you're not from Parkdale.
Our server Penny was super attentive and friendly. Their menu offers a variety options and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend The Originals to anyone, it's a great atmosphere for all!
Originally known as Harry's, The Originals Dining Lounge is a friendly, accessible diner/bar for locals in Parkdale. The staff is friendly and the prices are lower than pretty much anywhere else on the west end. The food is hit and miss depending on what you order, but it's usually a good value. Staff is always friendly and the place is generally inviting. I like that you can sub out the meat for avocado on the breakfast. Great atmosphere and relaxed vibe. I'll be spending lots of time here in the future.
