Tokyo Hot Fried Chicken

The chicken is delicious. I cannot complain at all. The rich flavours and spices are totally distinctive against other Toronto competitors. The ingredients are well planned as they give the unique touch that only Tokyo H.F.C can bring. I would just recommend to extend their doordash delivery to a longer radius. Overall, a unique experience that you cannot miss!

3.5 stars. I halved their two sandwiches. The non spicy signature sandwich is solid and the portion size is decent. It would have scored 4, but the second sandwich was spicy which upped an already high salt level. Afterwards, I felt weighed down by the oil and surpassed my salt quota for the week... instead of wanting more.

Hidden gem! Rooftop patio with a view of the CN tower, second floor patio, and great vibes! $5 drinks during happy hour! 5-7pm on weekdays I believe. Definitely try their deep fried chicken! Tater tots are perfectly crisp and their jackfruit funnel cake is a shocker! Totally recommend when they have it available! Amazing service and hospitality. Highly recommend :)

What to say other than: Wow. This was easily, hands-down one of the tastiest fried chicken sammies I have ever had. Chef Jordan is working his magic in the kitchen and it shows with well-crafted and thought out food.

Light but also crispy chicken with homemade slaw and seasonings, a home run, to say the least. Awesome location and a great patio. Perfect spot to enjoy one of best-kept secrets in the downtown core. Cannot wait to be back!
