They do an ok job of running badminton. Needs some air conditioning. Most staff are courteous. There's a long line up every week. They let people in early if they can but, they could upgrade their system with tickets instead of having such a long line in the hall. They cap at 24 so, even if you come early you could be disappointed & turned away. But, it being busy is not their fault. One grumpy, rude staff member yelling with an attitude "5 minutes !" to get out. Hopefully she learns to be a little more professional when dealing with the public.
It is an amazing place. Very open with different sections, there are ping pong tables, rooms for meetings or events upstairs and downstairs, badminton rooms, 2 gyms, karate class for small children, swimming pool, etc. As you walk in, there is directory counter for directors. The place is always clean with friendly staff. A great place
Such a great park to relax at in the summer, or walk through any time of the year. The unleashed dog zone is a fantastic place to bring your dog to burn off some energy and give them an opportunity to socialize with dozens of other dogs. Also has grassy fields for sports, tennis courts, a playground, and more.
Absolutely beautiful during cherry blossom season. Everything was in full bloom and everyone was dressed really nice for pictures. It's not too crowded, I think most people went to high Park and we were able to get some nice pictures. There's also a smaller grove of trees on the far side of the park closer to little Portugal that has way less people for some up close shots.
This park is a nice quiet spot to hang out with friends. It was a bit busy the first time I went there, but it was not bad. In spring, there are beautiful cherry blossoms to check out there. I also really liked the big open space and the placement of the baseball diamond and other areas worked well. I would definitely go again.
