A dog park/parkette most of the time, it has been transformed into a local picnic park during the warmer days of the pandemic when everyone was eager to congregate outdoors but the usual local favourite park (Trinity Bellwoods) was overcrowded. I’ve never seem so many people picnicking here before then!
Quite a lovely park, though small. Local yoga studio hosts a few weekly ourdoor yoga classes in the summer at this park (BYOM) and it is a great little location to sit for a bit in general.
One of my favourite parks in the city! Great green space in the midst of downtown with many adorable dogs to enjoy.
Beautiful park with a rich history, situated in the heart of Toronto (King West). There are tombstones dating back to early 1800s on display - and some are accompanied with plaques telling that person’s story. The park was well visited by people of all ages, as well as dogs (mostly on leashes) and families with kids. We felt safe there, enjoyed the sun and appreciated the clean bench ??
Nice park. Do not sit on the grass without a blanket. Dogs all over the place peeing, and pooping. They pick up the waste, but they could have gone to the dog park down the street, but you guessed it, they where lazy...all In all the park is small and nice, there is a hint of pee in the air when you walk through the park, just a little bit of pee.
Always a place of warmth and memories. Decent coffee and power protein cookie at Thor and a park with ample seating, sun and shade. Dog with owners, yoga, and people talking among thr history and markings of the pain of war and the scars of the battle for our freedom.
