I agree with the positive reviews here. I've always had great experiences at Wai's Auto - he's quick, courteous and gets the job done quickly. I've always found he was forthcoming and transparent. I was recommended this shop from a local motorcycle dealer and haven't had to look anywhere else in 7 years.

Prices have always been reasonable given that the shop is downtown Toronto. Great service, would recommend to anyone looking for a reliable shop downtown.

The tire of my car was punctured by a nail. I forgot to bring the wheel lock to the shop, and Greg is proficient enough to fix it in a very short amount of time without taking off the wheel. I would highly recommend this shop.

If you drive an older car and are looking to save some money, check this place out. The repairs are less costly than what dealers charge. So far, my experience at Wai Auto has been very positive.

I'm surprised at the negative reviews I have seen here. We've been using Wai Auto Service for almost 20 years for all of our vehicles. Routine service (oil changes, snow tires, mufflers, brakes, etc) are all done when we need it, without any significant wait for an appointment, and always at a significant savings to their competitors. None of our vehicles are "precious", so we really appreciate their option of using either manufacturer or third party replacement parts, as we choose. (We like the bargain, and the 3rd party parts that Wai Auto Service has used for us (mufflers and pipes, parking brake lines, etc) have always worked well and lasted at least as long as expected.)

We have taken them some tricky problems over the years, and each time they have diagnosed and fixed the problem fairly quickly. Once, when their first attempt to solve the problem failed, they only charged us for the parts, but did not charge us for the labour.

Now English is not Bill Wai's first language, and from what I'm reading, if you come across as suspicious, he may react badly. (Not an excuse or justification, just a warning.) But I have found that by trusting him, he offers us good service at a great price. If he makes a little money selling discount parts compared to online distributors, I think that's fair, because he has to pay for those parts to be sent to him, and for his time (and the cost of running his business). No retail location can offer the same prices as online distributors!

We quickly grew to trust Wai Auto Service, and they have never let us down so far!
