This place is a gem! I’ve eaten at many Greek restaurants but it’s the memorable ones that make you go back. I ordered the Chicken Souvlaki dinner with rice, potatoes and Greek salad and it was phenomenal! The chicken was tender and charred just right, the potatoes (oh, those potatoes!) and the rice had this incredible smokey taste to it. It was my first time trying it out since I live in the neighbourhood and boy, am I glad did.
This restaurant serves the best Greek food I have ever had in Toronto! I've been to many restaurants on the Danforth, and Greek food isn't usually my favourite thing, but I love the food here! I have had the souvlaki dinners, the sandwich, and my favourite so far is the calamari dinner. Great service and love the decor too! Highly recommend! Oh, and love that they use compostable take out containers. Six stars for that!
Amazing food, stellar service, good value! Great experience here this evening, will be back and definitely recommend. They offer dine in and take out. We ordered greek salad with lamb skewer, calamari and the dip platter. Plenty for 2 with leftovers.
Such a fantastic Greek spot right in Upper Beaches! Wonderful portion sizes at a reasonable price, and high quality food that meets or exceeds some of the better Danforth Greek establishments. The chicken souvlaki was moist and tender, the gyros were delicious with very fresh tomatoes and onion, the Greek salad was crisp and had a good chunk of feta, and the fried zucchini was crispy and not over-battered - and held up through the take-out process!! The kids portions were also generous and French fries crispy on the outside, soft in the middle. Love supporting this female owned, local business. Can’t wait to order from here again!
I was pleasantly surprised to see that a Greek restaurant opened up in the Upper Beach neighborhood. We definitely could use a new restaurant in this particular location! The moment we walked in, we were greeted by our server, who was very attentive throughout the evening. The space was warm and welcoming. The menu was easy to read and the prices were extremely reasonable! We had the calamari as an appetizer and it was absolutely delicious. Our entrées were the hamburger and the lamb souvlaki. We couldn't believe how large the portions were and just how tasty everything was! It was immediately apparent that everything was fresh--especially the meat and seafood. After dinner, we had a pleasant conversation with the owner who is one of the nicest people I have ever met. We were even given a tiny basket of chocolate eggs to celebrate Easter. I can't say enough about just how wonderful my experience was at this new neighbourhood gem. I will be going back with friends and family!
