“I have had constant daily headaches for many years and saw Dr. Trevor for treatment. His assessment, recommendations, and treatment plan were very thorough. He took extensive time to go through my history in detail to identify contributing factors as part of his treatment plan. I have so far had 6 sessions and I am amazed with how much better I feel with regard to my headaches, upper back, and neck tension. Dr. Trevor’s approach is very methodical and he isolated the contributing factors that have caused my long term chronic headaches. The combination of acupuncture and targeted exercise to strengthen weak muscles has resulted in significant progress towards my physical well-being. I appreciated his professionalism, knowledge, and patience in addressing all of my questions at each of my sessions. The physical space of this location has nice high ceilings and the treatment rooms are very clean and sterile, which I found reassuring after deciding to go back to a medical clinic during the virus concerns. The staff at Viva made us feel welcomed from the moment we walked in the door, greeting us by name. The treatments were great, and my therapist was clearly well trained and experienced (I'm in the industry myself so massages are often disappointing for me because I can't help but see them from a more technical/ evaluative perspective). “When my father passed away on Christmas day, I was anxious to get home to Calgary to be with my family. However I needed to arrange continuous care for my husband who has significant mobility challenges combined with dementia. I was fortunate to receive a response from Integracare on the morning of Dec. 27th. They were the first of the many potential service providers I had contacted on Boxing Day. They sent a very knowledgeable staff member that afternoon to assess my husband and living situation and I quickly had 24-hour-a-day care in place. The caregivers were wonderful by all reports from my husband and his brothers, who visited daily to check in on him. More recently, I moved home to Calgary and in planning our departure, I knew it would be a chaotic day at our apartment, followed by a flight to Calgary -- during a pandemic. Integracare was able to provide another lovely caregiver who kept my husband happy and comfortable in our condo's boardroom during the move. She also accompanied us to the airport and assisted us with check-in (lots of luggage, including pets). We parted ways at the security gate at which point I had free hands to take over my husband's care. I cannot recommend this agency more strongly. They are professional, caring, efficient and friendly to do business with: from reception to dear Raquel in accounting--who had to walk me through the online payment process.
