(January 16, 2019, 4:04 pm)This is a lovely quiet and out of the way restaurant. Better for family gatherings than a "night on the town". The food and service are excellent, plus it's at the Guild which is such a beautiful property for a short leisurely walk.

Food was fabulous, service was great and surroundings spectacular.
Loads of parking and convenient on Guildwood Parkway in Scarborough.
(December 30, 2018, 1:06 pm)Bickford Bistro is located inside the Guild Inn Estates which was an old landmark hotel down near the waterfront in Scarborough Ontario. This old hotel has been renovated and is an ideal setting for weddings and venues with beautiful statues and art pieces for photography. I believe you can hold up to 1500 guests inside and their is a summer outdoor section used for celebrations.
As for the bistro, They serve a brunch buffet with plenty of food items on Sunday and it is the only day they are open for business. Very good service by staff.
Gave this a 4 because there isn't any signage for the estate or the Bickford Bistro. You would have to be a local to know it exists!
(September 26, 2018, 3:40 am)Located in the restored and renovated Guild Inn in the Scarborough Bluffs, the main attraction of the place has to be the lovely garden park between the bistro and the bluffs. The brunch was good, but not spectacular. Service was friendly, and parking is plentiful. Definitely a place to come if you are up for a leisurely stroll in the gardens and the bluffs.
