I love this little dog park. The grass is in good condition,no bald spots. Fully fenced, street parking right by the gate. You don't have to walk far at all. In the back there is a nice trail down the hill. It is very quiet. Most people who visit have fairly good control of their dogs

This dog park is the closest to me, and it is the least busy dog park in close proximity. Apparently there are a lot of people who live in the immediate neighbourhood that regularly bring their dogs there. My American Bulldog is a runner, so it's nice to have somewhere for him to frolic.

The Orton Park Dog park is a friendly, muddy experience. Inevitably, some owners lose track of their dogs and don't pick up the dog poo, but other, saintly, dog-owners do patrol the outside edges of the park, and collect it. There are free bags for those who forgot to bring some. There are also some water dishes for thirsty dogs. One major downside of the park is the lack of lighting, which limits hours of operation, particularly in the winter. Construction of a shelter for dog owners was appreciated, but has led to some muddy areas surrounding it. No doubt this will get better over time. The grassy areas are cut frequently enough. Dog owners run the full sprectrum, so don't expect everyone to be bright and perky.

Best dog park in Scarborough! Plenty of space for the dogs to run around. Everyone is friendly and just looking to get their dogs active and socializing. We bring our pup here 1-2x a week. Best times are between 5:30-7:30 throughout the week to see the most dogs. It can range from 2-12 depending on the weather and day of the week.

Great place to take your dog, but some people there think they know what is best for other people's dogs. Everyone's dog goes through different phases, and because my dog is young and hyper, people find the urge to tell me to leave the park because my dog is too aggressive. I leave so I don't cause issues with other people, but I will continue to return to the park whether people like it or not until my dog learns how to tame himself. He's a dog and all he wants to do is play and have fun, not hurt other dogs. At 10 months old he still has a long way to go.
