This is possibly the best Northern Chinese restaurant in Scarborough. Make sure you bring someone who can read Chinese because the English translations are incoherant. They have some very authentic dishes on the menu that non-Chinese people will never try... unless you get lucky or try everything once. Best / safest bet for non-Chinese speakers/readers is to look at the tables beside you and order what they're eating. Lots of Chinese diners there who knows what is good.

Randomly went here last night with a few friends and was surprised by how much we liked the food. We ordered Lamb skewers, fried rice with special spicy sauce, eggplant dish (which was also spicy), some dumplings, and a braised chicken and mushroom dish. The food was pretty tasty! It was quiet not a busy place, so it was nice to be able to hear ourselves chatting. Nothing fancy here decor or service-wise, but good to come and get tasty dinner with friends. Although one server lady was nicely cautioning us to be careful with the hot tea pot. =) I'll come again.
