(December 12, 2018, 3:13 pm)Been trying to get a plot for 4 years now... I have contacted the city parks planner about adding more plots on the grass area at the east side of the plot. Will try again this year, very frustrating. May upgrade the star rating if able to get a plot.
**** Second stage review... I managed to get a plot this past summer and had to turn a water bog into a set of 8 raised beds. Bringing in more than 200 bags of garden soil from the adjacent road was a great workout but very tiring! Finally got called on May 9th with news I had a plot after pestering the city for 3 months solid.... I've included a few pictures of the starting view of the plot, the beds and some harvests. There is some validity to some comments related to getting a water tap but all you need to do is bring a 2-way valve and tie in.

(April 12, 2016, 9:06 pm)Can't beat the 70 odd dollar price for a season of outdoor activity and fresh food. Sign up early with the city or you'll remain on the wait list. There are a few folks who have/several lots to conduct a small scale commercial operation somewhat against the spirit of this facility.
