Short Review: I highly recommend Katie for any photography service. She is an amazing photographer, who makes everyone feel relaxed in front of the camera. She was even able to get some great photos of my dog, who is impossible to photograph.

Long review: We met Katie in 2018, and immediately clicked with her energy. We booked an engagement shoot with her, and she gave us great direction, and we were excited to have her photograph our upcoming 2020 wedding. Then the pandemic hit. We tried postponing a short period, then for a year later, and still the pandemic restrictions were in place. Katie kept up fast communications the entire time, and helped us research alternative venues when our postponement date was cancelled.

At our elopement, Katie effortless captured all moments, our laughs, our nervous smiles, and the moment we were husband and wife. Katie was an essential part of our day, and I could not imagine it without her. She was always up for phone calls to brainstorm ideas, and helped me plan out a special first look with my now husband. She scouted the venue in advance, and made a story board to help us think of different looks to capture at our venue. She has a great sense of humour and was able to keep us laughing and captured real, authentic moments. She is such a kind soul and will make anyone feel at ease in front of the camera.

Katie went out of her way to thoroughly research COVID restrictions, timelines and regulations for the venues we had booked and dates that got cancelled all the way up to our elopement. She made sure everyone was comfortable and safe the entire day.

This has been a roller coaster of a year not only for my hubby and I but for all of us. I finally get to sit down, well, more like lay down inside our canopy in the Singing Sands and relax and finally write this review a year later.

I just want to start with Katie being one of the most thoughtful, caring, sweetest person I have ever met. She made our very simple covid 19 wedding a beautiful one by capturing the love for my husband and I through the lenses of her camera. The photos came out so amazing. We aren't the pose type of person and Katie is the perfect photographer for candid photos.

I will be recommending her to all my friends and family and I cannot wait for her to capture our possible renewal. This time, with our friends and family.

I don't even know where to begin. I met Katie through a friend and have always admired her beautiful photos. Enough is enough and I booked a Christmas session with Katie. I have a toddler and the last few photo sessions we have booked (with other photographers) have gone horribly and I was incredibly nervous for our upcoming photos. However......I do not have any idea what Katie did but she really helped make my daughter feel comfortable and happy. She was all smiles for the photoshoot and we got COUNTLESS amazing shots. Katie truly went above and beyond our expectations and we could not be happier with the photos. We have finally found "our photographer".

Wedding and Candid photography

I worked with Katie Crane Photography for my wedding on August 17, 2019. My husband and I felt an instant connection with her when we had our video interview with her to determine our photographer. Next came our engagement photos which we were very pleased with as we spent all day with Katie at Scarborough Bluffs and Richmond Hill's David Dunlap Observatory. Spending so much time with her made us feel extremely comfortable for our wedding day.

My bridal party loved her right away so that made all our photos easy to do. The rest of the day just flew by as we went from site to site (condo getting ready phase, the first look, reception venue).

Not only does she do wedding photography, she is great with kids! She is a mom of her own and knows exactly what to do with fast kiddies. Katie Crane is experienced with quick kids and their emotions as she used to take photos of sports!! How cool is that?!!!

I don’t even know where to begin when speaking about our experience with Katie. A few things that come to mind are that she always goes above and beyond, is incredibly professional but also friendly, flexible, and an overall dream to work with from start to finish!
Meeting with Katie was spectacular- it was like hanging out with an old friend. She was very informative and clear with her packages and created a perfect custom package for us. Our engagement shoot was wonderful, and gave us the chance to get to know each other even more. On our wedding day Katie and her team got RAVE reviews from our family. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and organized manner made everything go so smoothly, but they were also super fun and you could tell they absolutely love what they do. Katie and the girls made everyone feel confident and comfortable in photos including myself and my husband. Katie ensured they got as many photos as humanly possible on our wedding day and made sure nothing was missed. She took the best candids and the most beautiful posed portraits. Our gallery is full of photos of our families and ourselves that we will cherish forever. I go back and look through our photos all the day just because they are so stunning I cannot wait to work with Katie again in the future and I highly recommend any bride hiring Katie as their wedding photographer!! ♥️♥️
