Kung Fu Tea on Steeles

Out of all the bubble tea chains, Kung Fu is the most consistent in terms of drink quality and quantity. Also reasonably priced.
I come to this location mainly because I noticed there are a couple of experienced staff that knows what they are doing and very quick at it.
However, I do have an ongoing annoyance with this location and their overly loud music. The girl taking my order can never hear me properly and vice versa. Lately its been so busy (seems like the whole Scarb/Markham orders from here) couple with the loud music, I cannot hear them call out my order #. This can be a simple fix with a number counter, order# screen like at McDo... or at least a microphone?

Got to try the 38 Milk King and the ginger milk tea (warm). The 30 Milk King was cold, smooth, chewy (in a good way). The added texture from the various toppings of tapioca, grass jelly, and agar jelly, was much welcomed. The ginger milk tea was soothing to drink. An added plus is that honey is used to sweeten the teas, rather than sugar.

My go-to bbt place! I come here almost every weekend because their tapioca is always cooked perfectly (not the case with the other kung fu locations in Richmond hill) and the drinks are very consistent. I also love the agar jelly and agar bubble toppings which you can’t find everywhere. Their drinks are sweetened with honey which is always a plus.

This place is consistent in terms of the quality and taste of my favourite drink I always get from them which is the Signature Lite Fruit Tea. If you call ahead and place your order, you don’t have to wait as long. The place is clean and the staff are friendly.
