I recently brought my Chesapeake Bay Retriever to this clinic for not eating for several days. I am beyond grateful for the staff here! As most animals are when they aren’t well, Duke was very scared of people at this time but there was no fear from the doctors and staff. I felt welcomed and felt they cared not only for our doggy’s well being but for our feelings when I was afraid to think what was wrong with our boy! Our Doctor didn’t rush into expensive tests. I didn’t feel they were trying to rip me of my money. We set out a plan diet...medications to rule everything out.
Turns out our big boy had cancer and as sad as this post sounds. We had to put him down.
If you are looking for a clinic that cares. That thinks of the animal before making money then this clinic is a must come to. Hands down ! They took their own time to give us a cal to check on our boy. See how he was doing and even sent is a card personalized after our big guy passed. Although our journey with this clinic was short. They were remarkable, well educated and Mannered.

Recently signed up with this vet about a month or so ago to updated my husky on his shots. He had a hot spot last week and I am very grateful that the secretary managed to fit me in the same week (two days after we discovered his licking). The treatment and medication costed about as much as I had predicted it would and was pleased. The medication I was given was a little different than the last time he had a hot spot (but that was from a different mobile vet) but it seems to be working okay. Dr. Rice is professional, nice, and competent. So are the vet techs, everyone treas my dog well and I am happy.

The only reason this is four stars is because during this appointment, the vet asked me to come back in one week (which we did this morning) so that she could see how it was healing. I assumed that this would be a quick visit. And it was. Took maybe less than half an hour, no video call was deemed necessary on their end and we talked over the phone instead. And then we disconnected and I assumed I would be getting my dog back shortly. Then the receptionist called me and says I'll be charged $63.63 after tax (64.4% of a regular examination/consultation which is $87.50 before tax) for this visit. And I was taken by surprise.

No one on their staff told me that I would be charged for this visit that the vet asked of me, the client. Not the vet tech that went over the charges from the initial visit, and not the receptionist that set up today's appointment. I get that it's COVID times, it's a gig economy and we all got to survive, but I really would have appreciated advance notice that I would be charged for a recheck that the vet asked of the client, and not the other way around. I had no budgeted for this and am a little upset.

Of course I still paid, didn't want to risk them not giving me back my dog. I feel that this charge could have been communicated in advance, so that I could have a chance to decide if it was worth $64 just for the vet to tell me his skin was looking better.

The staff was absolutely amazing!
I recently moved to the area and needed to find a veterinarian for my 10 year old husky. Milliken Bridlewood Vet Clinic was recommended to me by my neighbour who takes her cats there regularly.
Our first visit we were greeted with smiling faces and felt right at home. The clinic was clean and inviting and Dr Rice and staff were professional and friendly. You can really tell they care about their animals here.
My husky (who is usually nervous about his appointments) was wagging his tail the whole time!
An overall wonderful experience and we will definitely be coming back!

I recently took my dog into the Milliken Bridlewood Veterinary Clinic. My dog is very nervous by nature. Dr Rice was very kind and gentle with her. I found the experience to be excellent and very professional. Dr Rice was amazing with her. Her diagnosis was on point. My dog's issue was resolved without any added strain in her. Dr. Rice put my concerns at ease. I highly recommend Milliken Bridlewood Veterinary Clinic.

I brought my Bernese mountain dog here recently and the care and concern they had for her was outstanding. They go out of their way to
make sure their patients are comfortable and not stressed. Zasha, my dog was treated with kindness and is doing great. Thank-you so much to Dr Rice for her wonderful care with our girl and I highly recommend this clinic!
