Mon Petit Univers

My daughter went to Mon Petit Univers for over one year and she loved it. Daphne is an extremely nice and helpful person. She always found a way to accommodating to our needs and provide our daughter with the best attention. We knew of one issue with one senior caregiver but Daphne made the immediate decision of removing that person from the staff. It was so sad because our girl loved that person, but that was the right thing to do. Other than that, our experience was always pleasant, we felt our daughter was safe and well treated. Daycare in Toronto is expensive, but given the high quality of this place, we found it very reasonable. Highly recommended.

This daycare is exceptional, and the staff act professionally at all times. We could not be happier with the level of care that Daphne and her staff provide.

Unfortunately, there is a negative review above that I feel the need to address. I was present during this incident, and the staff could not have acted more professionally. As a certified Ontario teacher, I am aware of the professional responsibilities of those in a position of care, and the staff behaved admirably. They were polite, but firm, and this reinforced my comfort level with this daycare, as they showed that the children would not be allowed to leave without the proper authorization.

I would recommend this daycare to anyone.

My 4-year old and 2-year old both attend Mon Petit Univers. My 4-year has his before and after school care there (he was a full time student prior to starting JK) and my 2-year old is there full time. It truly is a wonderful place to send your child.

The group at Mon Petit Univers are fantastic with my kids - they are actually excited to go to daycare!

I highly RECOMMEND Mon Petit Univers to anyone looking for daycare services for their child.

My son (4 years) and daughter (2 years) have attended Mon Petit Univers since November 2018. Our son participates in the before and after school program and our daughter attends full-time.

We are very happy with our experience at the daycare, from the level of care our children receive, to the healthy food program, and our day-to-day interactions with the Director, teachers and staff.

We also love the introduction to French that our children receive, both of our kids now know their numbers and alphabet in English and French, and our daughter is almost bilingual from starting at the daycare from such an early age.

We love the love that our children receive. We know the kids are happy and safe and that they enjoy their time at Mon Petit Univers; this is evidenced by the way they run into the daycare in the morning to receive giant hugs and love from their teachers. There is a real family feeling about the daycare and we experience it every day that we walk in.

It's never easy to leave your children and go on to work in the morning but Mon Petit Univers makes it easier because I know that they are loved, happy, entertained, attended to, and above all, safe.

We have an almost-4-year old son who has been at Mon Petit Univers for about 2 years now. HE LOVES IT!! And we love it. It was pretty much brand new when he started going (he was the 3rd child to attend there, now they have around 20+), and everything is still very clean and new. They have organic food brought in for the meals every day, are taught manners and independence, and all of this in French. Communication between the educators and children is always in French but they can speak to the parents in English as many of the kids do not come from Francophone households.

We get pictures emailed to us of our son doing various activities and they always look educational and fun. They also send out an e-mail on Sundays with the "menu for the week". We don't have any dietary restrictions/special requests, but I know that they accommodate those. They also have a list of excursions that they send out when summer approaches showing what they plan to do with the kids and require parents to sign a consent form for anything off-site.

Our son loves the educators and we are kept well-informed of anything important. There is a notebook for each child where notes are made every day which we are encouraged to look at. I would highly recommend Mon Petit Univers to any family!
