Extremely delicious, quick eats. I love coming to Naan and Kabob! It's one of my must have restaurants whenever I am in Toronto.Always fresh, made to order food. I've been frequenting it since it's Opening, for a few years. The food is always consistent, portions are generous and staff is friendly. they've just had a rebrand and added more menu items and refreshed their decor. The place is always clean, the ambience is also comfortable. Lots of families dine here. Its in a strip mall plaza so parking is very limited and busy evenings/weekends. I usually call and order ahead for pickup without issues to avoid having to park or find a table.
My only critique is that the washrooms are in the basement, and it's not a comfortable experience using them.
I give 5 star for the food which is realy tasty and well-done. the service is not fast, which is usually normal for these kind of eastern restaurants with different foods. quiet and clean area for a nice together-family dinner.
This guy bought a super big rice party pack and dropped it later, he looked so heartbroken. But Tamana who was working there told him not to worry and they will offer him a new one. That was very nice of them to do it. Plus the food was amazing. A great place to go with friends or colleagues.
We ordered the Half Chicken Kabob with rice. It came with lettuce salad and tossed Tomatoes salad. The rice was very fragrant and it tasted really good. The chicken in my opinion was over cooked but was seasoned well. It was a bit spicy for me only because I don't like spicy. All dishes comes with salad and bread. Their read was warm, soft, and fluffy.
Another dish we ordered was their Beef Steak Kabob with Salad. The Beef was tender and was juicy. We saw that most people ordered the Trio Meat dish with rice and salad but we thought the chicken pieces were too small so we ordered the half chicken instead.
We also got the Mango Yogurt drink. It was already premise with real mangoes. Although they took it from the fridge, it was a bit on the room temperature to cold side. I wish it had been colder.
Their steeped tea was flavourful and I highly recommend it. All their staff were very friendly and explained every dish to us.
My favorite Afghan restaurant in the Scarborough area. The place has gone through some very nice renovations over the years and the ambiance is lovely and welcoming. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. But the best part about Naan and Kabob is the food. Very delicious and some authentic Afghan dishes. The portions are just right and the price is reasonably set for the amount of food. Overall, I recommend visiting Naan and Kabob for some very good Afghan food!
