Oo-Kinza Fish House

Been seeing and hearing lots of good things about this new sushi house in Bamburgh Circle so we got a takeout tray today to try them out. Honest opinion, the luxe option is pretty average for the price. Was thinking there would be more variety of fish, but it's only slightly different than the classic option ($28). I think only thing they changed up was the scallops, sweet shrimps, and another type of fish. The sashimi were pretty thickly sliced and the rice wasn't too massive. The rice around the rolls was way too thick and too soft for some reason. Overall I don't think I'd get this again, but might go back to try the premium options.

Really enjoyed our meal here. Reservations are required. While we were there on Saturday dinner time, those without reservations were basically turned down. Even takeout had a 2 hour wait time. The restaurant had 7-8 counter seats at most. You can buy uni and other available fresh fish from the fridge. Fish were fresh and delicious and serve just right. Highly recommend and will return.
