Loved it, but flooded with water for now
Convenient, easy trails and well maintained park
At East end of Toronto, adjacent to the zoo, a huge surprise is awaiting you. It is a park with trails, cedar tree forest, and a pretty river flowing through. You can start hiking off Kingston Road and go up on the trail heading north. Overall it is a moderate course, but there are cliff sections that you must pay special attention. Take time and watch your steps. There are several alternative side trails as well which you would try different routes each time you make a visit. It takes total 4 hours to get to the end and come back down to where you have started off. It is a nature within a city that you will truly appreciate. Plan a visit for a weekend with your family or friends.
