Nice church

I taught at St Thersa's Shrine in 1962/3 and 1963/4
I Would dearly love to hear from anyone who was in my class in those years.
I have a lot of happy memories of the children I taught and one very sad memory of the afternoon of Novermber 22, 1963, when Sister St Ambrose, the principal, announced over the class inter com the John Kennedy had been shot in Dallas. Everyone in the class burst into tears. I cried too.
A memorable teacher from those days was the deputy principal, Bernard Farley, who was a talented jazz pianist and played in Toronto nightclubs along with famous visitors such as Thelonious Monk.
Thinking back, I am sure many of my Canadian students thought I fairly tough on them but I also tried to keep them entertained.
