Sunshine Convenience Store

I went into this store on Sunday July 21st, 2019, to put chase a bottle of water, and check my lottery tickets. While checking my ticket, I noticed a product that I was interested in. I asked the store clerk what the cost was, and she told me the amount I told her thi was expensive, and that I could purchase the product for less at the Dollar Store, to which she angrily exclaimed, “ Well go to the dollar store then!”
I advised her that she should not speak to a customer in this manner.

I told her this was a rude statement, and that if I responded in this manner to my customers, I’d be fired! The clerk then proceeded to tell me that I was not a customer. She placed my loonie in the counter and told me to leave!

As I returned to my car, and thought about the situation, I honestly did not recall taking the loonie back, so I returned to retrieve it.

Once again the clerk flew into a rage, stating that I was “ stupid”, and “ clueless.” She also proceeded to walk towards me with a block of wood, in a threatening manner, as though she wanted to pummel me.

I would stay away from this business. Customers have the right to say whether or not they feel they are being over charged! Of course the agent or clerk can respond;however, the response must be tactful and polite! Under no circumstances should a customer, or anyone for that matter he spoken to in such a way, and under no circumstances, should anyone be threatened!

The clerk told me that I had taken the loonie back, and yells at me stating that I was” stupid!” She then probably iced to get a block of wood from the back and I asked towards me. I had already exited the store

I bought a lighter here, it works good. Nice store.
