If I didn't decide to live at the Phoenix House I would still be stuck in my house in the middle of nowhere drinking myself into oblivion. They saved my life by helping me find hope in sobriety. For that I am forever indebted to the owner and the counselors who helped me change everything about myself.
Oh and the house is really nice and the people there are pretty chill too. Almost forgot about that part
My experience at the Phoenix house was life changing. I have struggled in the past with relapse and was able to change my life around in a matter of 6 months here. I decided to come to The Phoenix house because I needed a change. All areas of my life got better and for the first time in my life I had faith that I could live a different way, a better way. Thomas Hayes who was my primary counselor and psychotherapist taught me more about myself then I thought was even possible, not only did the Phoenix house meet my expectations in what I wanted but also went above and beyond.
After 3 months of staying I decided to sign on for another 3 months to be safe, I slowly built a community and with the help of my friends at the Phoenix house we started our own NA meeting. The staff and the other clients quickly became a family to me and I continue to talk to all of them on a daily basis. I think that the gym being incorporated with the program is huge and as I continue to stay healthy physically, spiritually and mentally on my journey through recovery I would highly recommend the Pheonix house to anybody struggling with addiction. There's a good chance it will save your life as it has mine, thanks for everything I'll be forever grateful boys.
My experience at Phoenix was memorable and an experience that has changed my life, giving me the foundation to continue my recovery. It has taught me what recovery is and what I need to do in order to have the most success in it such as responsibility, accountability, fellowship and community.
This was my first time living in a sober house and I truly believe that without this experience, the experience I’ve had at the house, my recovery would not be at the stage it is at now.
Staff are compassionate and encouraging all the while passing on their personal stories and experiences of recovery and guiding us on the path.
Requirements from the staff for clients here are reasonable and in place to help us, having emphasis on fitness and 12 step programs, in addition to finding a sponsor and most importantly fellowship.
I am blessed to have been a part of the Phoenix family and would recommend this program to anyone looking to take the next step in their recovery.
The Phoenix House is a wonderful place for recovery. The staff go above and beyond to make sure each individual is set on the right path to live a happy and healthy lifestyle. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay clean.
A well structured facility with a personally tailored approach to each client's recovery. The house is a strong and inclusive community who motivate each other. I graduated and Phenix house with a large recovery network and I am now a proud alumni. This place changes lives.
