Toronto Fire Station 234

On July 15th at 4:35 pm, our niece and great niece were rear ended at Kingston Rd and the Guildwood Gates. My niece called us(we live on Cultra Sq) and we immediately went to the site. We actually followed the fire truck up Galloway. The two firefighters that I spoke to were very kind. While our nieces' were being checked out in the ambulance these kind men helped empty out the contents of the car and put them in our trunk. Also, they took the car seat out and installed it into our car. They stayed and assisted us until the police arrived. Fortunately, the baby was not physically injured however it took two days before she would get into her new car seat without crying. Our niece has some soft tissue damage and is looking at three months of physio. We are so thankful that no one was seriously injured. We are also very thankful for the kindnesses extended to us by these two men from the fire department. They had a very calming effect on us in a stressful situation. We thank them so very much.
