I had been trying to check this place out for a few weeks, but it looks like they are going through renovations and their business hrs arent regular. On my 4th attempt, I called and the owner picked up. I told him how I had been trying to try their food and they are always closed. He then asked me, well what do you want? I order my food and went to pick up. (Keep in mind this was during one of the nasty snowstorms we had recently) when I arrived the owner came and met me outside with the food. When I asked how much and how do I pay? He said it's on them and not to worry. The food was delicious and the owners are amazing people. I will definitely go back to try their whole menu once their renovations are complete. The owners small gesture really impressed me. FYI I am a Sri Lankan Tamil and this is a Ceylon Sinhalese cuisine restaurant. This proves that we as humans are kind and considerate, the politics do not represent all of us. Thank you Touchdown foods for a small act of kindness that means so much more.
